Colgate University Chorus and Chamber Singers

Since 2022, Lee has directed the University Chorus and the Chamber Singers in campus concerts, choral masterworks, chamber repertoire, holiday programs, and tours. The Chorus performs each year with the Hamilton College Choir. Recent projects include a 2025 holiday concert with The LALÒ Ensemble and the 2026 Carnegie Hall concert.2022년부터 University Chorus와 Chamber Singers를 맡아 교내 연주회, 합창 대작, 실내합창 레퍼토리, 홀리데이 프로그램, 연주 투어를 이끌고 있다. 합창단은 해마다 해밀턴 칼리지 합창단과 함께 무대에 선다. 최근에는 2025년 The LALÒ Ensemble과 홀리데이 연주회를 열었고, 2026년에는 카네기홀 무대에 올랐다.

Guest and visiting work객원 활동

In September 2026 Lee gave a conducting masterclass and lessons at the University of Louisville and held a residency at Centre College. In October 2026 he taught conducting at Hamilton College by invitation. Lee's research concerns Korean choral music, with particular attention to pronunciation, textual interpretation, and the accessibility of the repertoire. His doctoral dissertation, completed at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2022, is The Choral Music of Chong Jong Yeoul: A Review and Guide to Korean Pronunciation. He has presented at ACDA conferences and given invited lectures and masterclasses at universities across the United States.한국 합창음악을 중심으로 발음, 텍스트 해석, 레퍼토리의 접근성을 연구한다. 2022년 일리노이 대학교 어바나-섐페인에서 박사 학위 논문 The Choral Music of Chong Jong Yeoul: A Review and Guide to Korean Pronunciation을 완성했다. 미국합창지휘자협회(ACDA) 학회에서 발표했고, 미국 여러 대학에서 초청 강연과 마스터클래스를 진행했다.

Teaching교육

Lee teaches that singing in an ensemble trains musicians to listen to one another. In rehearsal he sets high artistic standards in a supportive setting, with close attention to text and language and to the relation between conducting gesture and sound. Historical and cultural context, each singer's development, and learning through direct performance are part of the same work.이신행은 앙상블 합창이 서로의 소리를 듣는 훈련이라고 본다. 리허설에서는 높은 예술적 기준을 지키되 서로를 지지하는 분위기를 만들고, 텍스트와 언어, 지휘 제스처와 소리의 관계를 세심하게 다룬다. 역사적, 문화적 맥락과 단원 개개인의 성장, 연주 경험을 통한 배움도 같은 작업의 일부로 본다.
